Nasra Farhataziz, previously from Pakistan, moved to Denton with her husband, Dr. Farhataziz, in 1977 where she lived for almost 40 years.

Dr. and Mrs. Farhataziz raised 3 children in Denton - Shaneela, Nabeel, and Ebram. Her 5 grandchildren (Naser, Nadia, Naila, Amira and Asher) were her pride and joy.

She was very kind and helpful to so many, made many sacrifices for others, and stressed taking care of her entire family. She was the glue of her family and will be sorely missed.

This endowed scholarship in her name is designated for the College of Science to recognize her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Master's Degree in Biochemistry from Panjab University in Lahore, Pakistan and was funded to continue her spirit of helping others.
