Created in 2013 by Michael & Julia Monticino. To be eligible for consideration, an applicant for the Scholarship must possess the following characteristics:

1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the University in effect at the time of any award;
2. Enroll as a full-time student with a major leading to a professional career in the health care field upon graduation (without discrimination of major);
3. Applicants must include with the application a statement of their intention to pursue a career in the health field;
4. Applicants must include with the application evidence of civic, community and/or volunteer activity;
5. Preference to a student who can demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance as determined by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or its successor.
