Dean's Student Support Fund: COS Launches Textbook Initiative Fundraiser

At the University of North Texas, we believe every student should be able to access textbooks and other course materials so they have the opportunity to make the most out of their college experience. In alignment with the UNT President's Affordability Initiative, the College of Science is exploring new ways to help support student success, including offering textbook assistance via online resources, and a new project that will supply students directly with funding to subsidize their textbook costs.

You can help support the academic success of math and science students at the University of North Texas by giving to the Dean's Student Support Fund today. Every dollar donated to this fund will assist a student in purchasing their required course materials for a new semester.

The number of students who can be served by the Dean's Student Support Fund is subject to the availability of funds, but we are hopeful to serve as many students as possible in increments of $200-500 at a time. The fund must be sustained by continual contributions from alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the University.

Applications for the textbook subsidy will be open November 1 - December 1:
