At the University of North Texas, we believe every student should be able to access textbooks so they have the opportunity to make the most out of their college experience. Students may apply to receive $200-500 to subsidize textbook costs on a needs basis, as determined by the Dean.
The application is simple to complete. Students must be currently enrolled as a major in the College of Science, provide documentation of financial need, and write a brief essay to the Dean describing their circumstance.
Students should expect to hear from the Dean's office within 30 days of submitting their application.
Funding will be deposited directly to student's account as quickly as possible, and students who receive funding will be asked to fill out a brief survey for the Dean's office.
