The College of Science congratulates UNT Chemistry Student Services Coordinator, Miriam Freeman, for receiving the UNT Star Performer Award! This recognizes Miriam's outstanding service to the Chemistry Department during the COVID-19 crisis.

"Miram's passion and dedication for work have made a huge difference in the Department of Chemistry," said Dr. Hong Wang of UNT Chemistry. "Miriam has strong organizational abilities. She is creative and open-minded to learn, and she has compassion for others. We would have had a much harder time making it through this difficult period without Miriam's efforts to keep the department together despite being physically separate."
