Chemistry Graduate Student Receives Honorable Mention for NSF Research Fellowship

The UNT Chemistry Department is proud to announce that Emmett Leddin, a Chemistry Ph.D. student, studying under the mentorship of Dr. Andres Cisneros, has received a Honorable Mention for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program! There are many perks and much prestige for receiving an Honorable Mention. According to the letter received by Mr. Leddin, he will receive "enhanced access to cyberinfrastructure resources, including supercomputing time, in support of research toward completion of the graduate program of study." Mr. Leddin will also be able to request access to XSEDE resources and services.

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) helps ensure the vitality of the human resource base of science and engineering in the United States and reinforces its diversity. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions.
