The University of North Texas community, family, and friends are invited to join us at noon Friday, May 10, to celebrate our Spring 2024 graduates from the College of Science either in person at the UNT Coliseum, or via the livestream.

Dean Quintanilla will be addressing the newest graduates during the ceremony, alongside leadership from the UNT College of Information. The ceremony will include traditional commencement elements, including ceremonial degree conferral and individual graduate recognition. Grads who participated in Students Helping Students this semester will also be recognized.

A total of 408 College of Science students are receiving their degrees this Spring and Summer.

During the ceremony, our students with the highest honors in the College of Science will be recognized, including 73 students graduating cum laude (GPA between 3.5 and 3.69), another 48 students graduating magna cum laude (GPA between 3.7 and 3.89), and 46 students graduating summa cum laude (GPA between 3.9 and 4.0).

The ceremony for Master's and Doctoral students will begin at 7:30pm on Sunday, May 12 (watch the livestream at this link).
