PhD students in the College of Science can now apply for a stipend of up to $5000 to support their summer research.
The UNT College of Science is accepting applications for current PhD students who are certified as All-But-Dissertation (ABD) by the Toulouse Graduate School and in their last year or two of the program for a Doctoral Summer Research Stipend during the Summer 2022 semester. Selected participants will receive a stipend of up to $5,000 for summer support. Please review the eligibility and stipend requirements below. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements to be considered.
Eligibility Requirements
-Currently a PhD student in one of the departments within the College of Science.
-Be in a late stage in your program and ABD, having defended your proposal and all qualifying exams.
-Intend to conduct research or dissertation writing during the summer semester.
-Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
