Electrifying Fiction: Physics & the Birth of Frankenstein

Join us on Wednesday, October 8 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. for Electrifying Fiction: Physics
& the Birth of Frankenstein. This FREE two-hour experience blends science and storytelling
for a shockingly good time!
Hosted by UNT's College of Science and the UNT Special Collections, this event explores
the fascinating scientific themes behind Frankenstein. UNT Lecturer, Dr. Megan Nieberding,
will lead a brief discussion on the role of Physics in shaping the novel's origins.
Following the talk, participants will engage with hands-on experiments and interactive
demos designed to spark curiosity and connect our community with the wonders of science!
Mad Science at the UNT CoLab: Kick Off to National Chemistry Week

Join the faculty and students from UNT Chemistry in a fascinating interactive 2-hour
experience of Halloween-themed demonstrations and hands-on thrills that kicks off
National Chemistry Week. We look forward to experimenting with you on Saturday, October
18 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the UNT CoLab.
