The UNT College of Science is pleased to welcome Lecturer Dr. Jingxi Liao the UNT Mathematics department.
The UNT College of Science is pleased to welcome Lecturer Dr. Jingxi Liao the UNT
Mathematics department. Dr. Liao recently received his Ph.D. in Mathematics with a
Financial Math Track from the University of Central Florida.
Prior to that, he earned his M.S. in statistics from Columbia University in New York
and his B.A. in actuarial science from the University of Connecticut.He passed and transferred seven actuarial exams from the Society of Actuaries (SOA)
and will soon be an Associate of the society.
Dr. Liao will be teaching classes in math and actuarial science this semester. “I
am excited to share my enthusiasm and love for actuarial science with students,” he
said.
