The Elm Fork Education Center's 2026/2027 Environmental Discovery and Adventure (EDA) field trip season is August 31, 2026 - May 21, 2027.

EDA is a full day program and includes a UNT SkyTheater show, a simulated archaeological or paleontological dig, an aquatic studies lesson, the Crow Creek scavenger hunt and time in the Eagle Exhibit Hall.  Each student will receive a journal and pencil as part of their participation.  

Environmental Discovery and Adventure journals  and pencils are made possible through the generous support of the James A. “Buddy” Davidson Charitable Foundation

For the 2026/2027 school year, the fee for the EDA program is $10 per student.

 

Limited dates are still available in December and February.

Please reserve your field trip date early - No payment is due at the time of registration.
