Professional Development Workshop Fall 2026

                Aquatic WILD Educator Workshop

Elm Fork Education Center and Project WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of aquatic wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators. 

Workshop participants receive:

  • 6 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
  • Aquatic WILD K-12 guide
  • Texas-specific resources

Please dress for indoor and outdoor learning. Bring a sack lunch and a refillable water bottle. Snacks and beverages are provided. 

$35 pre-registration is required. Registration deadline 10/1/26.

Monday, November 23, 2026  9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Project WET Educator Workshop featuring both the Foundations of Water Education and the *NEW* People & Water curriculum guides. Hybrid presentation with 1 hour of pre-workshop virtual activities and 6 hours of hands-on play and practice on how to use the materials in your education setting.

Workshop participants receive:

  • 7 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
  • Project WET Foundations of Water Education and People & Water guide
  • Texas-specific resources

Please dress for indoor and outdoor learning. Bring a sack lunch and a refillable water bottle. Snacks and beverages are provided.

$50 pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is 11/9/26.
