Dr. Sandoval is no exception, and he has excelled in the medical field since his time at UNT, catching the attention of his alma mater and earning him interviews and alumni feature in The North Texan over the years. More recently, his work was highlighted in the "Notable Alumni" section of the College of Science viewbook for prospective science majors. His clinical interests include the application of minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques in children, the development of advanced robotic techniques and clinical/basic research.
