Interim Dean Ed Dzialowski will be addressing the newest graduates during the ceremony. Watch the ceremony online here.
A total of 449 Bachelor's and 130 Master's College of Science students are receiving their degrees this semester. The ceremony will include traditional commencement elements, including ceremonial degree conferral and individual graduate recognition. Grads who participated in Students Helping Students this semester will also be recognized.
During the ceremony, our students with the highest honors in the College of Science will be recognized, including 58 students graduating cum laude (GPA between 3.5 and 3.69), another 75 students graduating magna cum laude (GPA between 3.7 and 3.89), and 53 students graduating summa cum laude (GPA between 3.9 and 4.0).
The College of Science is also celebrating the completion of 10 doctoral degrees. A separate ceremony for Doctoral and Master's of Fine Arts students will take place at 3 pm on Thursday, May 7 (watch the livestream at this link).
