College of Science Co-Sponsors UNT Women in STEM Event

The College of Science is proud to co-sponsor the upcoming event "Building A Better World: Celebrating Women in STEM"," alongside UNT's Office of Research & Innovation, UNT College of Engineering, and the Office of Faculty Success. This afternoon symposium will take place on March 1, 2019 at the UNT Union Ballroom 314 and will include special guest speakers, an interactive panel discussion, a research poster session, refreshments, and networking opportunities with many organizations across campus who will be tabling to discuss the successes and challenges of equity in the scientific and mathematical disciplines.

The two featured speakers at the event are Dr. Eva Csaky from SMU's Hunt Institute and Dr. Catharine Conley, former Planetary Protection Officer of NASA. The symposium is free and open to everyone the UNT community and friends.
